What it does

Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio by Wonder Dynamics) is a cloud-based, AI-powered 3D toolset that transforms live-action footage into fully controllable CG scenes without complex setups. It captures body, hand, and facial motion from video recorded with any camera (markerless AI motion capture), animates, lights, and composes CG characters into live-action performances, and can generate fully textured, auto-rigged 3D characters and objects from text or images using its Wonder 3D model. It automatically produces editable export elements such as motion capture data, camera tracking, alpha masks, clean plates, and character passes, ready for use in Maya, Blender, Unreal, or 3ds Max via USD.

How to use: Upload live-action footage and pick or generate a CG character. Flow Studio automatically tracks the actor, transfers body, hand, and facial motion to the character, and handles animation, lighting, and compositing. You can then refine results in-app or export individual elements (mocap, camera tracking, clean plates, alpha masks) into Maya, Blender, Unreal, or 3ds Max via USD.
