What it does
Textomap automatically detects place names in text, images, web pages, CSV files, or AI-style prompts and plots them on an interactive map, without requiring manual pin placement or spreadsheets. Maps can be saved, shared, embedded on websites, or exported to Google Maps or CSV, and there's a Chrome extension, WordPress plugin, and a classroom-oriented educator plan.
How to use: Users can create maps by inputting text containing locations, using a ChatGPT prompt to generate locations, or uploading a CSV file with latitude and longitude coordinates. The tool automatically identifies and plots the locations on a map, which can then be customized and embedded.
