What it does

Pl@ntNet is a nonprofit citizen-science project and app that identifies plant species from photos submitted by users. Beyond identification, it aggregates millions of images and observations into an open dataset used by researchers, with a community of experts reviewing and correcting identifications.

How to use: Use the Pl@ntNet application to take a photo of a plant. The application will then attempt to identify the plant based on the image. You can also contribute to the project by submitting your plant observations.
