What it does

OtterTune uses AI to optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases running on Amazon RDS and Aurora. It increases performance up to 4x and reduces costs by 50%. OtterTune monitors and optimizes knobs, resources, indexes, tables, queries, autovacuum and more. OtterTune was an automated database tuning service out of Carnegie Mellon University. It is dead.
