What it does
OpenALPR, now part of Rekor Systems, is a suite of automatic license-plate and vehicle-recognition software. Rekor Scout enables real-time plate and vehicle recognition on most IP, traffic and security cameras, while Rekor CarCheck is an API that analyzes still images for plate and vehicle attributes. It returns plate number, make, model, color and direction of travel across nearly 70 countries.
