What it does

Composer is an automated trading platform and brokerage, now part of SoFi, that lets users build trading algorithms with AI, backtest them, and execute them automatically — all without code. Users describe goals, strategy, and risk concerns in natural language and the AI-assisted editor creates a strategy ("symphony"), or they can build and customize strategies with a no-code drag-and-drop visual editor using conditional logic, weighting, and dynamic filters. Composer offers unlimited backtesting, a community where users share and remix strategies, pre-built strategies across categories, retirement accounts (Traditional, Roth, and Rollover IRA), business accounts, and commission-free automated execution through Composer Securities, an SEC-registered broker-dealer and FINRA/SIPC member.

How to use: Sign up and create your brokerage account in the app. Describe your goals, strategy, and risk concerns in natural language to have the AI editor generate a strategy, or build your own with the no-code visual editor. Backtest it against benchmarks, then fund your account and subscribe to a Trading Pass to invest — Composer executes trades and rebalances automatically.
